What is the Financial IQ Streak?

It's your Financial IQ Streak: the number of consecutive days you've come back to practice. Show up for even 5 minutes so you don't lose it — it helps you build the habit of learning, it doesn't measure your financial performance.

XP are the points you earn for every lesson you complete and every perfect quiz. They reflect how consistently you're learning, not your financial results or the risk you take.

2. Data we collect

When you use F&IAgents, we may process the following data:

Registration data: name, email address, and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
Educational progress data: completed lessons, quiz answers, XP, level, streaks, badges, and Financial IQ.
Billing and subscription data, managed by our payment provider.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and cookies (see section 7).

3. Purpose of processing

Your data is used to:

Create and manage your user account.
Provide the educational service: save your progress, XP, streaks, and Financial IQ.
Manage Premium subscription billing (€4.99/month or €39.99/year, after the 14-day free trial) and cancellations.
Send you service-related communications (for example, account or billing notices).
Improve the platform based on aggregated usage data.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of the service contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b) for account and progress data, on the user's consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a) for non-essential communications, and on compliance with legal obligations (GDPR art. 6.1.c) for billing data.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers who help us deliver the service (for example: database hosting, email delivery, and payment processing), under the corresponding data processing agreements, and only to the extent necessary to provide that service. The specific providers are: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email delivery).

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion or closure of your account, we will retain only the data we are legally required to keep (for example, billing data) for the period required by applicable law.

7. Cookies

F&IAgents only uses technical cookies that are necessary for the Site to work, such as the cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't currently use any analytics or marketing cookies. If we add any in the future, we'll let you know and ask for your consent beforehand through the Site's cookie banner. You can review or change your preference at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

8. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and data portability at any time by writing to info@financeandinvestmentagents.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority: since the controller is established in Germany, the competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz (LfDI RLP), although if you reside in another EU country you can also file a complaint with your own country's data protection authority (for example, in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos — www.aepd.es).

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration, including password encryption.
